Caleb Overload!!

You are my Sunshine

My only sunshine.

You make me happy

When skies are grey.

You'll never know, dear,

How much I love you.
Please don't take my sunshine away!

This song perfectly describes Caleb and his personality. He has been through some big things in his little life, and through it all that big infectious smile has never left his face! Happy Birthday buddy boy!!

WE LOVE YOU!

Busy July

July has been very busy but a lot of fun! After trips to Bridal Veil Falls, the Park many times, the Zoo, the cabin, California, and Idaho we are pretty exhausted and are ready to take it easy for awhile!

We went to Idaho this past weekend for a family reunion in Heise Hot Springs, my family drove up a couple of days early to go to West Yellowstone. Here we are at Bear and Wolf world.

After we crammed all the cousins on this buffalo we read the sign that said, "Buffalo is fragile, please do not sit on it." Whoops!

We got to drive Andy's niece home from EFY. She lives in Temecula, which is about an hour away from San Diego. So we spent a few days hanging with Andy's brother Tom and his family. We had a lot of fun, thanks to Matt and Sage for watching Caleb!

At the San Diego Zoo

Chillin' at the beach

The beautiful San Diego Temple, it really looks like a castle!

Bridal Veil

The Hogle Zoo

Every Tuesday this summer we have met the Baugh cousins at a different park, it has been a lot of fun and gives us something to look foward to every week!

Happy Fourth!

For the Fourth we, of course, started the day with the Parade (which we swear off every year because of crowds and the heat), and then headed to the Baugh annual picinic at Scera Park, and ended the day at Dallins house for swimming, bbq, and fireworks!

Caleb loved every minute of the parade, he waved and pointed at everything!

Austin at the Baugh Picnic with Lucy, Redick, and Ellie

Swimming at Dallin's house, Austin stayed in the pool for 3 hours straight!

Fireworks! (Don't mind my outfit, I just got out of the pool!!)

Last Week

I am such a blog slacker that my posts always end up being more than one post. Here we are again with many events to blog about!

First meet "Dr Jones":

Austin wears his Dr Jones costume everywhere (to the store, out on the playground, on walks), he now refers to himself as Dr Jones and if I am mad at him if I call him Austin, he says, "I am not Austin I am Dr Jones" which generally makes me more mad! Also yesterday at the zoo he had his cousins Jack and Jayci calling him Dr Jones!

Meet Caleb Longstocking (Courtesy of my brother Jake). Yes, he needs a haircut!

Last weekend we had to opportunity to go to Idaho for a roping in memory of my Grandpa Hendricks who passed away last August. It was incredible because most of the family came and we all got to go out in the middle of the arena and honor my grandpa by giving away two scholorships in his name. It was neat to celebrate my grandpa and his life by attending something that he loved to do! Above pic is Austin and my grandpa's brother, El Ray. Below pic is me and Caleb hanging at the ropin'.

Austin just got done with Itty Bitty Ball. The city had a little sports clinic for 3-4 year olds, it was four days long and each day they learned a new sport: Football, Basketball, Soccer, and T-Ball. It was so cute to see Austin running around with a bunch of other kids trying to figure out sports. He had a lot of fun!

Here we are at the zoo. Our zoo pass expires at the end of this month so we have been packing it in. These pics are from yesterday and we have never seen the animals this lively, it was a lot of fun! These monkeys were just hanging on the fence making the loudest noise ever, it was so funny.

You can't really tell in this pic but the two bears in the background are wrestling and playing:

I have never heard the tiger roar, he is usually hanging out in the very top corner of his hideout but this day he was pacing back and forth and roaring so loud, it was really cool to hear!

And just FYI Caleb's test results came back normal, so he just wants to take his time in the walking business. Thanks for all of your concern, we are glad that he is okay!

The Month of May

It seems to be the general consensus that the month of May is busy. That is no exception for the Baugh Family. We have had a very fun but very busy month of May. Starting with Austins preschool program and graduation:

Austins class singing and acting (so cute)

Getting his diploma from Miss Tammy (grandma)

After the graduation we stopped off at Kangaroo Zoo to let all of the cousins play one last time before Emma and Braden left for the summer (some did not want to stop playing for the pic)

Caleb recently got an MRI of his brain to make sure everything is ok up there because he is still not walking and is 22 months old. We made a trip up to SL two days in a row, first to talk to a Neurologist and second to have an MRI at Primary Children's. He is sleeping off his sedation meds in this pic above.

For his MRI he had to he sedated and was pretty loopy for the rest of the day! No results yet.

For Memorial Day weekend we went up to the Baugh Family cabin in scofield. We had fun swinging, hiking, eating, roasting around the campfire, and playing endless amounts of card games!

Me and Emily on the "adults only" hike which turned out to be a lot of fun!
Lucy and Ellie finally arrived, the kids had been waiting all day!

Andrew made Austin his own walking stick.

Every time I tell Caleb to say "cheese" he literally does and cheeses so big, it is so funny!

My "little" brother Cameron graduated High School, and we are so proud of him!
And finally swimming in Grandmas pool, a summer pastime. It's amazing how much fun kids can have in a little plastic pool!
