Relief
I am so happy because I was in charge of our Christmas enrichment and it was this morning, yeah all over! I am also happy because it went so well. It started at 9:30 and we had breakfast and everyone that signed up to bring food did, yeah, and then we went into the chapel and had an incredible program. Lauri Carrigan came and sang and talked and she did an amazing job. You should check out her website, www.lauricarrgian.com. Anyway I am relieved that it is over and now I can relax and enjoy Christmas!

Something I've Discovered
I'm sure most of you have figured this out by now but I have just discovered that I am a HORRIBLE blogger. So I apologize for my once a month posts but they're better than nothing, right? Anyway here are some things we have been up to this past month:
Painting pumpkins at Grandma Bruuns (a heck of a lot
easier and less mess!)
I went to all this work piecing together a very cute
(in my opinion) pirate costume for Austin and at the
last minute he decides he'd rather be Indiana Jones, what!?
(the one picture where they are both smiling
someone walked in front of so I have a nice
pirate or Indiana Jones every day and insists that
we call him "Capi Jack Sparo" or "Ieo Jones"
-funny kid!

Things We Have Been Up To
Wow, it's been so long it took me awhile to figure out what I was even doing! Life here has been a little crazy, Andy has been going out of town quite often (twice last month and now twice this month) and Austin is now "officially" potty trained (yeah)! Austin also takes speech therapy classes on Mondays and goes to preschool on Wednesdays which requires us to drive 40 min just to get there, but it's well worth it! And I know some of you have been a heck of a lot busier than me but we're getting back into the swing of things! Here are a few things we have been up to lately:
Witches at Gardner Village with Rachel & Alex Zupan
A trip to the Zoo with all of the cousins + Grandma (an adventure)
Emma, Braden, Lily, Jack, Jayci, Caleb, and Austin
A drive up to the copper mine, I remember when I was younger
it seemed a lot higher and scarier looking down in, but it was still
really cool and Austin loved the BIG trucks!
And... yesterday before Andy left again for a trip to Florida
he decided to make me dinner, it was incredible!
Here's an appetizer of Humus and pita bread
(very tasty I might add)
Here is the first course, a beautiful green salad that he
cut up and put together!
And here is the second course, rosemary roasted
chicken, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy
(I don't even make homemade gravy) and it was
so delicious. Plus he even cleaned up. Thank you
babe, I love you!

Cabin Fever
Andy and I had been wanting to do a family get away all summer but with his new job where he travels to Philadelphia quite often it never happened. Well we finally got some R&R this past labor day weekend (I'm just a little late on the posting)! We headed up to the Baugh Family Cabin on Friday morning and spent the weekend, it was a lot of fun! I also celebrated my 25th birthday on the Sunday that we were at the cabin, we ate some yummy cheesecake and I got to blow out candles this year (of course I made the cheesecake and put the candles on, as a mom if you want candles on your cake you better do it yourself, right?) but it was a great weekend and a fun time spent with family!
The Four of Us
Andy and Austin hangin' together
Eating Lunch (we actually ended up forgetting Caleb was in his chair because all the other kids got up to play he was sitting there for like 30 minutes, poor kid!)
A really pretty moth or butterfly, anyone know?
Happy 25th to me!
Andy's sis Emily tipped over and then couldn't get up, it was really funny! We love you Em!
Part of the Baugh clan enjoying smores!
Austin also started preschool a little while ago! He goes to my mom and I am so excited about it. My mom has taught for many years ever since I was young, and I always wondered if she would still be doing it when I had kids and I am so thankful that she is! She is such an incredible teacher and has ENDLESS amounts of patience, I don't know how she does it. But Austin loves it, and he gets to go with my sisters son, Jack and my cousins daughter, Gracie, and it has been a lot of fun to see them play and learn together! They were so proud of the bags they made the first day.

Tribute
My Grandpa Blane Hendricks passed away this past weekend and I would like to pay tribute to the special man that he was and to his incredible steadfast wife, my grandmother. My grandparents and the most hardworking people I know. Every time we drove up to Idaho to visit we could always expect deliciously cooked meals and wonderful hospitality, my grandma would work tirelessly to make sure we were taken care of and well fed. She would always stay up to let us in no matter how late we arrived. We could always expect the horses to be saddled (or sometimes not) and ready to go on adventures with Grandpa. They always put up with us kids probably doing things we weren't supposed to such as playing in the storage room with the old clothes and roller skates and driving in grandpa's fields on the four wheelers or climbing haystacks! But I loved going into the kitchen early in the morning or late in the evening and talking to grandpa as he sat on a stool by the counter. He always remembered what was going on in my life, and he ALWAYS made me laugh! Both my grandparents have always been great examples to me. They not only are hard workers but they are incredibly strong in the gospel. They have raised 7 incredible children who are just like them. I have a wonderful legacy to live up to and I will be forever grateful for my grandparents!

What's new with the Baugh Fam!
First and foremost, CALEB GOT HIS HELMET OFF! We went and saw the doc on Wednesday and he said it was a go! Yeah! Here he is helmet free!
Caleb is also mobile, but not in the way you would think. Instead of crawling he scoots on his bum, but he is fast! He has always hated his stomach and I guess this is way of getting around without having to crawl! He is into everything! And he has already taken a spill down the stairs, luckily he was fine!
Another thing we did last week for the first time was taking a visit to the Dino Museum at Thanksgiving Point. Austin, Caleb and I went with my friend, Nancy, and her kids Brannon and Cami. It was a lot of fun, and Austin really enjoyed it because there are a lot of hands on activities.

Happy 30th Andy!
This year for Andy's birthday I did a surprise party and it was a lot of fun because he had no idea! Thanks to everyone that came it made his day to see all of his friends and family!
I just wanted to take a second and tell Andy what an incredible man he is, and I will be forever grateful to Brian for setting us up! Andy is such a hard worker and he always makes sure our needs are taken care of. Whenever I'm in a bad mood he always finds a way to make me laugh. He is such a wonderful dad and the kids love wrestling and
playing with him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE!!
